FurnitureFurniture making is central to what we do and the values of quality and individuality long associated with cabinet making are those which guide our work. Our objective is to make furniture that exactly meets the requirements of our clients and we are happy to work to your specific designs or to design pieces to your brief.Our gallery page provides a visual overview of some of the furniture that we have made, to give you an idea of the range of styles and materials. If your idea is completely different, don't be afraid to contact us. We enjoy the challenge of new concepts as much as the satisfaction of producing traditional pieces.
Commissioning a piece of furnitureIf you are a designer, all that we require is a drawing and specification and we will provide you with a price to manufacture the item. During this process we will ask any relevant questions to ensure that we can meet your requirements. You might be an individual or business wishing to commission a piece of furniture directly. You can, of course, provide a drawing and specification as above. Alternatively we are happy to work with you to establish a brief, then develop a range of ideas based on the brief and finally work up a finished drawing. Please note that in this case any drawings we produce remain the property of Worth Design, unless otherwise agreed. No matter which approach is taken we will provide a final detailed quotation which also specifies what we will be making and what materials will be used, and a timescale for completion. This ensures that all parties have a clear understanding of what is to be done and what is expected.
